During this 8-day journey, you will climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, experience rural village life, visit the dramatic Koneswaram Temple overlooking the Indian Ocean, and relax on the stunning beaches of Trincomalee and Nilaveli. Optional excursions such as Pigeon Island snorkeling, whale watching, and Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage can be added to personalize your experience.
Daily Itinerary
Day 01. Airport → Kurunegala → Sigiriya

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will meet your driver-guide and begin your journey toward Sigiriya with a short stop in Kurunegala before continuing to your hotel.
Day 02. Sigiriya Rock → Rural Village Experience

Climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most impressive UNESCO heritage sites. Later enjoy a rural village experience where you will discover traditional Sri Lankan farming, local cuisine, and authentic village life.
Day 03. Sigiriya - Eastern Beaches: Trincomalee - Koneswaram Temple - Nilaveli Beach

Travel to Sri Lanka’s east coast and visit the beautiful Koneswaram Temple, dramatically located on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean before relaxing on the beaches of Trincomalee.
Day 04. Optional: Pigeon Island → Beach Relaxation

Today you may join an optional excursion to Pigeon Island National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s best snorkeling locations.
Day 05. Optional: Whale Watching → Nilaveli Beach Relax Day

Enjoy a relaxing beach day or join an optional whale watching excursion where you may see blue whales, sperm whales, and dolphins.
Day 06. Trincomalee → Dambulla Cave Temple → Kandy

Approximate Transfer Time: 4.5 hours
Visit the spectacular Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO heritage site filled with Buddha statues and murals, before continuing to the cultural capital of Kandy.
Day 07. Kandy → Temple of the Tooth → Botanical Gardens → City Tour → Kandy

Payment method:
All payments must be made securely via our official online payment gateway. You may choose from the following options:
- Credit/Debit Card Payment – A 2% card processing fee will apply.
- Free of charge bank transfer option.
- A 40% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation depending on the case.
- The remaining 60% balance must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival in Sri Lanka.
- Once the 40% deposit is received, we will issue a confirmation receipt. Upon full payment, an official invoice will be provided.
Cancellation policy:
- Up to 45 days before the trip: 100% of the deposit will be refunded in case of cancellation.
- Between 44 and 31 days before the start of the trip: A penalty of 50% of the deposit will apply.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the trip: The deposit is non-refundable.
Note on cancellations:
- All cancellations are subject to a €90 per person administrative fee.
