Hello, We have just completed our 15-day trip to Sri Lanka, and it was probably one of the most wonderful experiences we have ever had while travelling. It all started with the excellent organisation and coordination of the Viajes Edén agency, but what impressed us most was our driver-guide (who has now become more than a friend), who was always attentive to our well-being and ready to take care of us at every moment. Chamara treated us with great professionalism. There are many guides like him, but very few, truly very few, have his warmth, kindness, and patience. For him, an 11 out of 10! I recommend him 500%. Make sure to specifically request him. I would also like to mention the agency. All the hotels were good to excellent. They all have very beautiful locations and surroundings. If I had to point out one small drawback, I would say that some of them could benefit from a little renovation or refurbishment. However, they were all clean, and the kindness of the staff was truly remarkable. We should also remember that we are in a different country from our own, where things work differently. Overall, I would give the hotels a score of 8.5. The organisation by the Edén agency was excellent. The excursions they selected are very comprehensive, and when you also have Chamara as your guide, the experience becomes fantastic! The country is wonderful. It has extraordinary natural beauty, national parks, beautiful temples, and a truly interesting history. In conclusion, it was an adventure we will never forget. And we will remember our great friend Chamara even more, as he managed to leave a part of our hearts in his country and with his family.
