Hole 1 - The Opening Drive
A gentle dogleg right that sets the tone for the round. The drive demands accuracy to avoid out-of-bounds fencing along the right perimeter and large tropical shade trees guarding the approach to a flat, well-bunkered green.
Hole 2 - The Railway Crossing
One of the world's most unique par 3s. Golfers must tee off over the active Kelani Valley train tracks to reach an elevated target green flanked by defensive sand traps and water canals.
Hole 8 - Waterways Challenge
A testing par 5 winding alongside natural water canals. Big hitters can go for the green in two, but placement is heavily penalized by lateral water hazards and deep fairway bunkers on the landing zones.
Hole 18 - Clubhouse Finish
A classic finishing hole that leads golfers directly toward the historic Victorian clubhouse verandah. Requires a clean, straight drive followed by a precise second shot over the front green bunkers under the watchful eye of clubhouse spectators.
