Welcome to Bandaranaike International Airport! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Sigiriya, a journey that takes about 3.5 hours. Along the way, there will be a stop in Kurunegala town for refreshments by the lake. You can also choose to enjoy an optional village experience that includes tuk-tuk rides, canoe crossings, and ox cart rides, offering insight into local farming and cooking traditions.

Explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the (10th-13th centuries). You'll see impressive Buddha statues and monuments of King Parakrama. In the afternoon, enjoy a safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for herds of up to 300 elephants. For a romantic touch, there's an optional ayurvedic massage session using traditional plant oils.

Explore the Golden Temple at Dambulla, dating back to the (1st century BC),with its cave setting featuring 153 Buddha statues and stunning views of the rice field. Then, climb the Sigiriya Rock,one of the eight wonders of the ancient world, which includes 5th-century palace ruins and offer 360-degree panoramic views!

Visit a spice garden to discover vanilla, cocoa, cardamom, pepper, ginger, and other aromatic plants. Then, transfer to Kandy, the mountain capital. In the afternoon, take a walk through the Udawattakele Reserve in the heart of Kandy, which features towering tropical trees and amazing vegetation. Explore Kandy city, its lake, and local markets.

Early morning visit to Sri Dalada Maligawa, the Temple of the Buddha’s Tooth, where the sacred tooth relic is kept. You can witness local Buddhist devotions with flowers and offerings, a deeply spiritual experience. Afterwards, explore Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a lush green paradise filled with magnificent old trees and a variety of amazing plants, where locals often come to enjoy family time.

Journey to Nuwara Eliya (1,868m) through extensive tea plantations, stopping at Ramboda Waterfalls and visiting a tea factory. Experience "Little England" with its colonial buildings, the Golf Club, and the charming atmosphere of the Hill Club. Take the romantic train from Nanu Oya to Ella—a journey of over three hours winding through tea hills on the historic 1864 railway.

Choose between romantic mountain adventures: climb Little Adam's Peak, an easy 30-minute hike through tea fields with mountain vistas, or take the 3-4 hour Ella Gap trek for spectacular views of the mountain range. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxing day taking in the fresh mountain air and stunning scenery.

Embark on a safari in Yala National Park, renowned for having the world’s highest concentration of leopards. You’ll have the chance to encounter elephants, black bears, deer, pelicans, wild boars, crocodiles, herons, wild buffalo, kingfishers, peacocks, and a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitat.

Explore Galle Fort, the best-preserved colonial historical center and one of the most beautiful cities in Sri Lanka. Take a leisurely stroll through this walled seaside fort, enjoying its charming cafes, restaurants, and shops. Afterwards, transfer to Unawatuna Beach for a romantic and relaxing time by the ocean.

Experience the unique ‘Madu Ganga’ river safari, gliding through beautiful mangroves that reveal a different side of Ceylon’s natural beauty. Along the way, visit Cinnamon Island and a tranquil Buddhist temple island. Afterward, return to Unawatuna for some romantic beach relaxation and free time to unwind.

On your final day in Colombo, dive into the city’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere. Start with a visit to Independence Square, then enjoy a peaceful stroll along the Galle Face promenade by the ocean. Don’t miss walking through the colonial Colombo Fort area to soak up its unique charm. Afterward, you'll be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport.
