Day 1 Airport - Kurunegala city - Anuradhapura city
(Approximate transfer time: 3.5 hours)
Meet and greet at Bandaranaike International Airport by our driver-guide and transfer to the hotel.
It is always good to get out of the car, smell, see, feel… to start to soak up the smells and colours of a new country. That is why, between the airport and the hotel, you will make your first stop in the city of Kurunegala to walk around the lake and have a snack just like the Sri Lankans do.

Day 2 Anuradhapura city - Anuradhapura ancient city - Sigiriya city
(Approximate duration of Anura - Sigiriya: 1.5 h)
Your first visit will be to the fascinating ancient city of Anuradhapura (4th century BC – 10th century AD). In addition to ancient temples and stupas, we will see, above all, how Sri Lankans visit and worship this sacred site, how they make their offerings to the oldest tree in the world (Bo tree) and much more!
Day 3 Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa ancient city - Sigiriya Rock - Sigiriya

Among the ruins of Polonnaruwa (10th-13th century AD) we will find giant sculptures of Buddhas and Kings up to 15 metres high, ancient ponds and the remains of what was once the royal palace. All this is enlivened by friendly macaques playing in the jungle that always surrounds the old temples in Sri Lanka.
The famous Sigiriya Rock (5th century AD) is considered one of the 8 wonders of the ancient world. Don’t miss the ruins of the palace at the top and the fascinating 360-degree views all around!
Day 4 Sigiriya - Dambulla Golden Temple - Matale: Spice Garden - Kandy city and Temple of the Tooth
(Approximate duration Sigiriya - Kandy: 2.5 hours)
The Golden Temple (1st century BC) is embedded in a large cave. You can see 153 statues of Buddha, Buddhists making their offerings, monkeys, etc. In addition, there is the beauty of the rice fields, coconut trees and mountains that can be seen from there.
Afterwards we will have the opportunity to see the plants and trees where the different spices are grown and we will learn about their uses in cooking and in Ayurvedic medicine.
The Temple of the Tooth contains the relic of Buddha’s tooth. For this reason, we will always find Buddhist pilgrims with flowers and offerings. Since antiquity, this relic has played a very important role in the life of Sri Lanka, because it was believed that the person who possessed it displayed power.
Kandy is considered the capital of the Buddhist world due, in large part, to the Temple of the Tooth or Sri Dalada Maligawa.

Day 5 Kandy - Ramboda waterfalls - Nuwara Eliya city - train to Ella.
(Kandy - Nuwara Eliya: 2.5 hours + train)
On the way to the hill station of Nuwara Eliya (2,000 m) we will see extensive tea plantations and stop for a moment to see the Ramboda waterfalls.
In Nuwara Eliya we will take a tour around Lake Gregory and through the city to see the buildings with British influence.
In the afternoon we will take the train from Nanu Oya station in Nuwara Eliya to Ella. It is a 3-hour winding journey through the tea hills and high forest.

Day 6 Ella - Buduruwagala Temple - Yala
(Ella - Buduruwagala - Yala: 2 horas)
On the way we will visit Buduruwagala, an ancient Buddhist temple from the 10th century, where we will find 7 statues of Buddha and Buddha aspirants carved from the rock itself.
In the afternoon we will go on a safari in Yala National Park.
Yala is home to the largest concentration of leopards in the world, as there are no predators. In addition, you can see many elephants, crocodiles, buffalos, black bears and many more animals.
Day 7 Yala - Galle Fort - Unawatuna
(Tissa - Galle: 2 hours)
Galle Fort is the best preserved colonial historical centre in the country. It is undoubtedly the most beautiful town in the country and an ideal place to walk through its cobbled streets and colonial squares. On sunny days, the sunset over the Indian Ocean is incredibly beautiful.
Transfer to Unawatuna. Free time in the coastal town of Unawatuna, where you can enjoy various restaurants, cafes, hotels, shops, beach bars…
Day 8 Unawatuna - Colombo - Airport
(Unawatuna - Airport: 2 hours)
If there is time left before the transfer to the airport, we will take a retrospective tour of the capital, Colombo. We will see the most emblematic places of the city such as Independence Square, Galle Face Promenade and the colonial area of Colombo Fort.
Transfer to the airport at the agreed time. At Bandaranaike International Airport you must be 3 hours before your flight departure.

Payment method:
- The payment method in EUROS is 10% or 20% (depending on whether it is low or high season) by bank transfer to a bank account in Spain.
The remaining 90% or 80%, also in EUROS, is paid in cash upon arrival in Sri Lanka or by international bank transfer to Sri Lanka.
If you wish to pay by international bank transfer, this amount will be increased by 5% for bank charges.
Cancellation policy:
- Up to 30 days before the trip, 100% of the deposit is returned if the trip is cancelled.
- Between 29 days before and 15 days before the start of the trip there is a penalty of 50% of the deposit amount.
Cancellations made within 14 days prior to the trip do not have a refund of the deposit.

- All cancellations have an administration fee of 90 euros per person.
