Day 1 Airport - Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - hotel in Sigiriya
(Approximate duration airport - Pinnawala: 2 hours; Pinnawala - Sigiriya: 2.5 hours)
Reception at Bandaranaike International Airport by Sri Lanka Eden Travel Representative.
The first stop on this fun route will be the Elephant Orphanage. This centre was created to house injured or orphaned cubs found in the jungle. It is the largest captive elephant reserve in the world. Don’t miss the experience of seeing dozens of elephants bathing in the river!
Transfer to the hotel in the town of Sigiriya. Check-in and rest.
Day 2 Sigiriya - Sigiriya Rock - Minneriya Elephant Safari - Sigiriya

La Roca de Sigiriya es una roca prácticamente rectangular de 360 metros de altitud que alberga en su cúspide las ruinas de un antiguo complejo palaciego y es considerada una de las 8 maravillas del mundo antiguo.
Por la tarde haremos un safari en el Parque Nacional de Minneriya, famoso por las grandes manadas de elefantes que habitan en él. Todo el mundo queda impresionado al contemplar tantísimos elefantes juntos bebiendo y comiendo en los pastos del parque.
Day 3 Sigiriya - Matale: Spice Garden - Kandy: Temple of the Tooth and city
(Approximate duration Sigiriya - Kandy: 2.5 hours)
On the way to Kandy, we will make a short visit to the Spice Garden with an explanation of the plants and trees from which the different spices are obtained. In addition, we will learn about their uses in cooking and in Ayurvedic medicine.
Note: The Spice Garden is an optional visit (no cost) and has a shop attached to it where no one is obliged to buy anything.
Called the capital of the mountains, it was the last capital of the Kings of Sri Lanka.
Once in the city we will visit the Temple of the Tooth where the relic of Buddha’s tooth is kept. For this reason, we will find many Buddhist pilgrims with flowers and offerings. Since ancient times, this relic has played a very important role in the life of Sri Lanka, since it was believed that whoever possessed it held power.

Market: If you have time, it is very interesting to visit the market where they sell fruit, vegetables, fresh meat, spices, fabrics, etc. - There are also seamstresses and people who repair shoes or anything that is worth repairing. In an Asian market, anything is possible.
Day 4 Kandy - Rafting in Kitulgala - Nuwara Eliya
(Approximate duration Kandy - Kitulgala: 2 hrs; Kitulgala - Nuwara: 2 hrs)
On the way to Nuwara Eliya we will stop at Kitulgala, an area of extraordinary tropical vegetation, absolutely beautiful. The anecdote about this town is that it is where the classic “The Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed in 1957.
Rafting: Once the boat is ready, it is time to go rafting, which lasts approximately 2 hours and is about 7 kilometres long and with 8 rapids. This activity is ideal for young people and teenagers, although surely some adults will join in too.
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Afterwards we will take a tour around Lake Gregory and the city to see the buildings with British influence.
Day 5 Nuwara Eliya to Ella Train - Ella Excursion and Zip Line - Tissa
(Train duration: 3h; Ella - Tissa: 2h)
Viaje en tren desde Nuwara Eliya a Ella. Son más de 3 horas de un serpenteante camino entre montañas de té y bosque alto. La red ferroviaria de Ceylán empezó a funcionar en 1864 y todavía se conservan y funcionan perfectamente algunos antiguos trenes de la época.
El tren está sujeto a disponibilidad.
Una vez en Ella haremos una excursión que consiste en subir al Pequeño Pico de Adán o Little Adam’s Peak. Se trata de una sencilla subida rodeando campos de té para disfrutar de la inmensidad de montañas de esta parte de la isla.
A continuación la adrenalina está servida con la tirolina que se extiende por más de medio kilómetro por encima de las plantaciones de té y de la exuberante vegetación de la zona.
Traslado a Tissamaharagama. Si llegáis con tiempo, podéis pasear alrededor del lago Tissa dónde a menudo hay pescadores locales con canoas.
Day 6 Tissamaharama: Yala Safari - Turtle Farm - Free Ahangama
(Tissa - Ahangama: 2 hours)
The best way to see animals in a park is early in the morning. So today we will get up to go on a safari in Yala where we have the largest concentration of leopards in the world, as they have no predators. In addition, you can see many elephants, crocodiles, buffalos, black bears and many more animals.
Transfer to one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka: Ahangama Beach.
Beforehand, we will stop at a turtle farm to see how they care for sick turtles or protect their eggs until they go out to sea.

Day 7 Mirissa - Koggala Lake Safari - Galle Fort - Ahangama
(Ahangama - Lake: 20 min.; Lake - Fort: 40 min.; Fort - Ahangama: 30 min.)
Today we will take a boat safari among the mangroves of Lake Koggala, where we will visit an island with a Buddhist temple; as well as the “Cinnamon Island” with an explanation of the process of cinnamon from the tree to our table.
Next, it’s time for one of the most successful visits of the program! Galle Fort is a walled city bordering the sea and is the best preserved colonial historical center in the country. It is undoubtedly the most beautiful city in Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful place ideal for walking under the shade of trees or by the sea. In addition, there are many cafes, restaurants and shops where you can find the best of the country.

Day 8 Ahangama - Colombo: Gangaramaya, Red Mosque and Galle Face - Airport

Transfer to Colombo to visit the following places:
This is one of the most important temples in the capital. Located on the edge of Lake Beira, it is built by mixing different types of architecture from Sri Lanka, Thailand, China and India.
Afterwards you can visit the Red Mosque (outside prayer times). Also called Jami Ul-Alfar, it is the most important mosque in Colombo, as well as one of its most recognizable buildings. Built in 1909 by the neighborhood’s Muslim community, the Jami Ul-Alfar stands out for its unique striped colors and geometric tile work that looks more North African than Sri Lankan.
In the afternoon it is very interesting to go to Galle Face, a walk along the sea where children and adults release their kites to the wind.
Transfer to the airport at the agreed time. At Bandaranaike International Airport you must be 3 hours before your flight departure.

Payment method:
- The payment method in EUROS is 10% or 20% (depending on whether it is low or high season) by bank transfer to a bank account in Spain.

- Up to 30 days before the trip, 100% of the deposit is returned if the trip is cancelled.
Between 29 days before and 15 days before the start of the trip there is a penalty of 50% of the deposit amount. - Cancellations made within 14 days before the trip do not have a refund of the deposit.
