15 day Combo Tour

We will start from the incredible Pearl of the Indian Ocean with its most emblematic places and we will finish immersed in wonderful crystal clear waters

1st day. Bandaranaike International Airport - Sigiriya Rock - Habarana

(Approximate transfer time: 2 and ½ hours)

Reception at the airport by our representative and transfer of about 2 hours and 30 minutes to the accommodation in Habarana

Depending on the arrival time of your flight, we will claim to Sigiriya fortress

This huge magma rock hides the ruins of noble buildings and a breathtaking view on the top

We will pass through the Lions Gate and admire the state of conservation of the frescoes on the walls of the cave

Located in a strategic location in the centre of the Cultural Triangle, giving us the opportunity to reduce transfer times for visits over the next few days

2nd day. Habarana - Polonnaruwa - Minneriya - Habarana

(Habarana - Polonnaruwa Approximate transfer time: 1 hour)

Founded in the 10th century AD, Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka and remained active until the beginning of the 13th century.

In the afternoon mounted on a four wheel drive, we will participate to this amusing Safari,

famous for the large herds of elephants that inhabit it.

Sometimes you can admire up to 300 elephant specimens

3rd day. Habarana - Anuradhapura - Mihintale - Habarana

(1 hour approximate between the different transfers)

The city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries and is part of the so called "cultural triangle".

Secondo le antiche cronache il Buddismo entrò in Sri Lanka attraverso di Mihintale nell’anno 237 prima di Cristo.

Nel bosco sacro incontreremo le rovine di quello che rimane di un grande monastero che albergò  fino a 3.000 monaci. 

Tutt’ora rimangono I resti della vita di quel tempo: la mensa, la clinica,  etc.

4th day. Habarana - Dambulla Golden Temple - Tooth Relic Temple - City of Kandy

(Dambulla - Kandy: 2 and ½ hours)

In the morning we will visit the Golden Temple of Dambulla

This complex of caves converted into a temple where inside we will encounter a rich decoration of statues and frescoes on the life of Buddha, of ancient Sinhalese kings and of Hindu Sinhalese deities still revered today with flowers, incense and oil lamps ...

We will visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa Temple or called Temple of the Tooth, where the canine belonging to Buddha is kept

Kandy, the capital of the mountains

World heritage recognised by UNESCO, Kandy is one of the most sacred places in the Buddhist world

Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kings, has a lot of British influence

We will see colonial-style buildings and take advantage of a walk around the lake surrounding the Temple of the Buddha Tooth, where one of the most important relics of Buddhism is preserved: the left canine of Buddha

5th day. Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Train from Nanu Oya to Ella - Ella

(Kandy - Nuwara Eliya: about 2 hours, train to Ella about 3 hours)

On the way to Nuwara Eliya we will visit the Ramboda waterfalls and a tea factory

Reached the station of Nanu Oya, a few minutes from Nuwara Eliya (8 km), we will board the train carriage in Ella.

6th day. Ella - Yala : Safari – Yala

(transfer by car of about 2 and ½ hour)

We will participate in the Safari in the National Park mounted on a 4x4.

This huge expanse of land is divided into five blocks, which protect the habitat that goes from the bush to the lake areas near the sea.

Welcome to Sri Lanka's favorite hill country village!

She is a blissfully relaxing place nestled in the valley at around 3500 feet high; it is surrounded by mountains covered with lush farmland and tea plantations.

Buduruwagala is an ancient Buddhist temple carved into the rock of the tenth century, where we will find 7 statues of Buddha and his aspirants carved in bas-relief in the rock.

7th day. Yala - Galle - Unawatuna

(Yala - Unawatuna: transfer of about 3 and ½ hour)

Galle is the third most important city after Colombo and Kandy.

It was a Portuguese city in the 16th century and a Dutch city in the 18th century, the British also lived in the 19th and 20th centuries.

All these colonizers left an imprint, which is why it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

8th day. Unawatuna - Colombo - Negombo

(Unawatuna - Colombo: about 1 and ½ hour)

We will take advantage of the morning for a bit of beach.

After lunch we will head to Colombo.

Transfer to Colombo for a retrospective visit to the capital, Independence Square, Galle Face promenade and to the colonial area of the Fortress of Colombo.

9th day. Negombo - Bandaranaike International Airport - Malé - Resort

(Negombo - Airport: about 20 minutes)

Seaside resort just 20 minutes from the airport

Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport at the appointed time, where we will arrive 3 hours before the departure of the flight

Once we land in Malé we will be received by the Resort representative who will accompany us to the stopover to board the seaplane with destiny to the heavenly Resort

10th > 13th day. Maldives Resort

Days of relaxation on the crystalline Maldives beaches

14th day. Resort - Malé International Airport

We will reach Malé Airport by seaplane where we will board for the return flight
