Immersed in nature and culture, we will cross the island diagonally, enjoying the wonderful beaches that line the district of Trincomalee.

Then we will descend towards the south crossing the majestic Tea mountains, We will participate in the Safari in Yala and finally we will reach the southern coast.

1st day. Bandaranaike International Airport - Kurunegala - Anuradhapura

(Approximate transfer time: 2 and ½ hours)

Reception at the airport by our representative and transfer of about 2 hours and 30 minutes to the accommodation in Anuradhapura

On the way we will stop at Lake Kurunegala to stretch ourselves with a walk and eat a snack

Located in a strategic location in the Cultural Triangle, offering us the opportunity to live in a city completely devoted to Buddhism.

2nd day. Anuradhapura - Mihintale - Anuradhapura

(Approximate transfer time: 1 ora)

This day will be dedicated to one of the country's ancient capitals: Anuradhapura.

Founded in the 4th century BC, it is one of the largest archaeological sites in the world


It is one of the pilgrimage sites of Sri Lankan Buddhists.

Legend has it that Mahinda, son of King Asoka, attributes the introduction of Buddhism from India to Sri Lanka

3rd day. Anuradhapura - Trincomalee - Koneswaram Temple - Nilaveli

(Approximate transfer time: 3 hours and 20 minutes)

It is located in a welcoming natural bay and the deepest in the world, which protects the city from winds and compared to other places in Sri Lanka, the climate here is drier and warmer.

4th day. Nilaveli - Pigeon Island National Marine Park - Nilaveli beach

(Journey on the boat of approximately 20 minutes)

Visit Pigeon Island National Park.

This is one of two marine parks in the country and consists of two small islands.

Bird sanctuary since 1963, it has one of the best coral reefs in Sri Lanka

5th day. Nilaveli beach - free day

Day of relax in the most beautiful beach of the island

6th day. Nilaveli - Sigiriya Rock - Safari Minneriya National Park - Habarana

(Trincomalee - Sigiriya : Approximate transfer time 3 and ½ hours)

This huge magma rock hides the ruins of noble palaces and a breathtaking view on the top

We will pass through the Lion's Gate and admire the state of conservation of the frescoes on the walls of the cave

In the afternoon we will participate to a safari, mounted on a 4 x 4, in the Minneriya National Park, famous for the large herds of elephants that inhabit it.

Sometimes up to 300 elephant specimens can be seen

7º giorno. Habarana - Polonnaruwa - Habarana

Habarana - Polonnaruwa : Approximate transfer time 1 hour)

Founded in the 10th century AD, Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka and remained active until the beginning of the 13th century.

8º giorno. Habarana - Dambulla - Kandy

(Habarana - Kandy: Approximate transfer time 2 and ½ hours)

In the morning we will visit the Golden Temple of Dambulla

This complex of caves converted into a temple where inside we will encounter a rich decoration of statues and frescoes on the life of Buddha, of ancient Sinhalese kings and of Hindu Sinhalese deities still revered today with flowers, incense and oil lamps ...

On the way to Kandy we will visit a Spice Garden

On this visit we will learn about the plants and trees with which the different spices are produced and discover their use in cooking and in the ancient natural medicine of Ayurveda

Kandy, the capital of the mountains

World heritage recognised by UNESCO, Kandy is one of the most sacred places in the Buddhist world

Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kings, has a lot of British influence

We will see colonial-style buildings and take advantage of a walk around the lake surrounding the Temple of the Buddha Tooth, where one of the most important relics of Buddhism is preserved: the left canine of Buddha

9th day. Kandy - Buddha Tooth Relic Temple - Peradeniya Botanical Gardens - Kandy

(Kandy - Peradeniya : transfer of approx 40 minutes)

We will visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa Temple or called Temple of the Tooth, where the canine belonging to Buddha is kept

The Peradeniya Botanical Garden or also called Royal Garden has its origins in the 14th century.

This vast expanse of trees and plants is one of the best travel sites in Sri Lanka.

We will admire the centuries-old trees and palm trees with the strangest shapes, Ayurvedic plants and the famous collection of orchids.

This vast area of 60 hectares is a place of relaxation and recreation for the Sinhalese where they come to stroll and spend the day with family, boyfriends or friends.

Peradeniya Royal Gardens

10th day. Kandy - Ramboda Waterfalls - Tea Factory - Nuwara Eliya - Train from Nanu Oya to Ella

(Train journey of about 3 hours)

On the way to Nuwara Eliya we will stop to admire the Ramboda waterfalls and learn about tea production by visiting a factory.

We will then contemplate the British colonial style buildings of Nuwara Eliya and stroll around Lake Gregory

Reached the station of Nanu Oya, a few minutes from Nuwara Eliya (8 km), we will board the train carriage in Ella.

11th day. Ella - Buduruwagala - Safari in the Yala National Park - Yala

Buduruwagala is an ancient Buddhist rock-hewn temple from the 10th century,

where we will find 7 statues of Buddha and his aspirants carved in bas-relief in the rock.

We will participate in the Safari in the National Park mounted on a 4x4.

This huge expanse of land is divided into five blocks, which protect the habitat that goes from the bush to the lake areas near the sea.

12th day. Yala - Galle Fort - Unawatuna

(Yala - Galle : transfer of approx 3 and ½ hours)

Galle is the third most important city after Colombo and Kandy.

It was a Portuguese city in the 16th century and a Dutch city in the 18th century, the British also lived in the 19th and 20th centuries.

All these colonizers left an imprint, which is why it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

13th day. Unawatuna - Colombo city Tour - Bandaranaike International Airport

(Colombo - Aeroporto : transfer of approx 1 hours)

Transfer to Colombo for a retrospective visit to the capital, Independence Square, Galle Face promenade and to the colonial area of the Fortress of Colombo.

Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport at the appointed time, where we will arrive 3 hours before the departure of the flight
