Mirissa Bay is famous for those who are starting to learn about this wonderful water sport.
We will also find intermediate surfers, present to improve their technique.
The truth is that in the south of Sri Lanka there are waves for all levels, depending on where you surf or kite surf.
In addition, blue whales, dolphins and other large mammals migrate from November to March, which you can see during your trip to Sri Lanka.
The best time of the year to surf in Mirissa
The best time to surf in the southern of Sri Lanka is between November and March, when the environment is drier and a little cooler.
Despite everything, temperatures can reach 30-40 degrees Celsius, so it is advisable to practice it early in the morning or in the late afternoon.
Furthermore, offering an intermediate level of waves, the best height can be encountered during the early hours of the day and the end of the afternoon.
Mirissa, in fact, can be visited all year round and you will have the opportunity to explore the wonderful beaches of this mythical bay.
Adventure, Adventure and more Adventure
And for the adventure to be complete, this circuit has 3 safaris: one to see elephants in Minneriya National Park, another to watch leopards in Yala, and another to see birds in the Madu Ganga River.
